Bambi is a name that stuck with all of us when we were kids. It instantly conjures images of Disney's beloved, wide-eyed fawn, and seems to fit like a glove for cute, small dogs.

I see Bambi as a perfect choice for those pups with a knack for innocent mischief, or those with a deer-like grace. And it makes for some pretty profound conversations at the dog park - "Yes, Bambi like the deer. No, she doesn't have a skunk friend...yet."

The name Bambi, of Italian origin, means 'child', but for dainty dogs it definitely lives long past puppyhood.

To be honest I named my dog Bambi because of her spots and she’s fawn colored so to me it just fits so I love it as a name and everyone that’s met her calls her by her nickname Bam so everything works out 😌
