I have adopted a mini schnauzer mix pup (12% lab!). I have had 4 pure bred minis previously and miss each one desperately. Even though I am 75, I needed a new partner for myself and my Maltese who is 15 years old and deaf. I chose the name Quentin because it means fifth. He is now 7 months old and a really wonderful, frisky pup who keeps me active. I love him dearly and am now looking for obedience training because he is so lively and happy but very much in need of control. In a way, he is like myself. Quentin is pure black with black eyes. His fur is unusually shiny and fluffy, but he does have a tiny schnauzer beard and sweet floppy ears. He had a teeny white spot of fur on his chest. He was born in Arkansas and they tell me he may have been dropped off at a Walmart parking lot with two siblings. I am so glad that I "saved" him. He is a Yankee now in Illinois. So, I hope that if you are thinking about the name Quentin for your dog, you'll picture my baby and his beautiful characteristics and nature. I don't think he will ever become a film director or producer like Quentin Tarantino, though!
