The meteoric rise of Ozzie as a dog name is something that's definitely caught my eye lately.

It's perfect if your pup is a bit of a rockstar, since it's a nod to the Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne. It's also ideal for a dog with a rebellious streak or a penchant for heavy metal.

Another way of spinning Ozzie is to focus on the Aussie vibe, which makes it a great fit for an Australian Shepherd or any dog that loves a good "G'day, mate!"

And let's not forget Ozzie Nelson, the quintessential 50s sitcom dad. It seems to me that whether your dog is a headbanger, a beach bum, or a family guy, Ozzie is one of those names that's simply got it all.

Ozzie or uzi me and my brother are arguing about what to name our dog. He wants this and I find it odd and weird also he wants to spell it like this Uzi because of the rapper or something… so annoying. But the name is ok for people who want it I guess…
